| Enthusiastic Part time Accounts Assistant 22.5 hours over 5 days required to join Accounts Team of the largest generator hire company in the South West. Assist with the running of the Purchase Ledger, processing supplier invoices onto computerised systems and resolving supplier queries. You must be, numerate and have a good working knowledge of Word and Excel, with a good approach to customer service. Pension and Health Schemes available after completion of 6 month probationary period. JOB DESCRIPTION: PART-TIME ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT REPORTS TO: Financial Accountant JOB PURPOSE: To support the Accounts Team of the largest generator hire company in the South West. Providing effective and efficient customer service at all times. KEY TASKS & MAIN DUTIES: 1. Assist with the running of the Purchase Ledger, processing supplier invoices onto the Sage and Inspire Systems. 2. Resolving supplier invoice queries and disputes. 3. Reconciliation of supplier statements at month end, ensuring all invoices have been received and processed. 4. Process petty cash receipts and payments on Sage, reconciling the petty cash on a monthly basis. 5. Produce the main supplier cheque payment run and mid month cheque run each month. Raise manual cheques as required and maintain the cheque register. 6. Processing road fund licence payments for the company’s fleet, with the responsibility for ordering new or replacement fuel cards and responding to any issues. 7. Any other ad hoc duties to support the Purchase Ledger, Accounts Department functions. 8. Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are kept tidy. 9. Comply with all aspect of the company ISO 9001:2000 procedures, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Some Purchase ledger experience essential Sage Line 50 experience beneficial but not essential as training will be given Good numeracy skills Good communication skills both written and verbal Good Customer Service Skills Salary £14,500 - £16,000 pro rata per annum, depending on experience. | Electrical Foreman holding a minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation Engineering or equivalent and City & Guilds in current edition (17th) of IEE wiring regulations is required to support the Electrical Department of the largest generator specialist company in the South West. Providing effective and efficient customer service at all times. Supervising and developing a team of multi skilled electricians in a fast moving environment. Responsible for the preparation, repair and testing of electrical equipment. Pension and Health Schemes available after completion of 6 month probationary period. JOB DESCRIPTION: ELECTRICAL FOREMAN KEY TASKS & MAIN DUTIES: 1. Responsible for preparation, repair and testing of electrical equipment. 2. Responsible for synchronizing generator pairs and generators to mains system. 3. Supervisory responsibilities for the Electrical Team 4. Diagnose faults for generators and panels. 5. Carry out Site Surveys for special jobs as required e.g. large power shut downs. 6. Carry out electrical/mechanical repairs and servicing of generators and ancillary equipment in the yard and on customer site where required. 7. Provide general assistance in the yard, including loading & offloading equipment. 8. Responsible for the wiring of various site equipment 9. Carry out periodic testing of temporary site installations. 10. Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy. This includes company vehicles. 11. Comply with all aspects of the company ISO 9001:2000 procedures, proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme. N.B. It may be a requirement of the role in the future to carry out duties on our company on call rota system. (Currently 1 week in 8). Although this role is predominantly workshop based there could be a requirement to visit other sites. Salary £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
